Aran Photographs: Summer Exhibition
The late and great award winning photographer Bill Doyle (1926 - 2010) spent four decades photographing the people and the landscape of the Aran Islands. Doyle’s mainly black and white images are at once aesthetically exquisite and deeply humane, evoking a largely vanished world in the most majestic of settings on Ireland’s western seaboard.
