TRADITIONAL BASKET-MAKING AND WEAVING
Áras Éanna has a traditional basket-making and weaving workshop. Here, visitors can see brothers Máirtín Taimín and Tomás Taimín engaged in the traditional craft of basket-making from sally-rods and weaving the traditional “crios” or belt, worn by the men of the island in former times, on a loom.
